A public-service office within the Dubai International Financial Centre area, this space was designed by Opaal Interiors, who tasked NGA with the creation of the UAE’s first dual curved illuminated stretch ceiling of its kind. Responsible for the full lighting solution on this project, NGA also designed, manufactured and installed custom-made, curved U channels to house ceiling services.

NGA designed, manufactured and supplied the entire decorative and architectural lighting package for this second project in a rollout of commercial office spaces for Hira Industries. With over 50% of the commercial light fixtures being custom made, NGA used a number of materials - including concrete, timber and aluminium - to create a variety of bespoke fittings for this unique space.

Looking for a striking entrance feature, AW Rostamani contracted NGA to provide this dual matt white and translucent finish stretch-fabric solution, with integrated lighting. Using high-CRI, high-efficiency LED, we contrasted the illuminated stretch fabrics with a matt white membrane.

Bloomberg’s latest recording studio in Dubai presented another opportunity for NGA to demonstrate our knowledge of photosensitive lighting solutions. NGA provided flicker-free LED lighting behind our high-performance, stretch-ceiling diffusers to multiple locations on this project.

This award-winning, bespoke, autumn-leaf ceiling, was manufactured, powder coated and installed by NGA. The unmissable hotel lighting feature stretches across to cove r the 110sqm ceiling in the Sycamore Bar at the new Middle Eight luxury hotel in Covent Garden. The hospitality lighting project was not without challenges, but the end result is stunning.

NGA were brought in during the concept design stage of this ultra high-end healthcare facility. Initially tasked with confirming the lux-level calculations were sufficient, NGA were then commissioned to manufacture and supply the stretch fabric, architectural and decorative lighting solutions as well as controls.

Located in the heart of Dubai Design District, Royal Ahrend sought assistance from NGA to design, supply, manufacture and install human-centric stretch ceiling lightboxes, which can help to promote recovery and wellbeing. This was an example of a clean, fresh healthcare space in which they wanted to showcase an even light suitable for any medical facility.

Part of the prestigious Oxford University, Brasenose College has one of the oldest boat clubs in the world. NGA were commissioned by lighting design firm LAPD to manufacture, supply and install this 8.5m x 2.5m ‘boat’ light feature to the lecture theatre X1 ceiling.

PET felt solutions were supplied to this university library to help reduce noise reverberation while increasing sound absorption. With baffles installed to the ceiling and felt also applied to the bookcases, the acoustics of the space were dramatically improved.

Combining Sega’s technology with the BBC’s content, the Orbi experience allows users to get a truly immersive experience. NGA was involved from the design stage to bring interactive RGBW lighting behind stretch fabric lightboxes and Fusion Flex LED throughout the project. The lightboxes had circumferences of up to 82m which were installed without seams or joins.

Working with Dubai-based Light Touch PLD, NGA were contracted to provide over 6000m of our plug-and-play linear LED luminaires to the general areas in Cairo’s latest shopping destination. In addition, over 40no. custom-made 3D light boxes were manufactured and installed into the food court areas, using Fusion Flex LED strip and stretch-fabric diffusers.

This series of suspended and recessed lightboxes were provided to this innovation centre as an acoustic solution to combat the numerous hard surfaces around the space. Discreet access hatches were designed in to assist with the regular access required to maintain the fan coil units. Dynamic white and RGB LED was used to enable an immersive experience for the customer.

After installing stretch ceilings to this client's previous swimming pool, NGA were asked to complete more works in their new property.

This included supplying and installing 115m2 of satin white stretch ceilings above the swimming pool and sauna and 4no. recessed lightboxes to the garage.
